UPDATE: Adrian Mutton, Sir Richard Branson & the Virgin Media Pioneers
It was a whirlwind tour. Adrian Mutton, CEO of Sannam S4, flew to London to meet with the Virgin Atlantic team and UKTI Trade Mission, and returned from London to Delhi with Stephen Ridgway, CEO of Virgin Atlantic, and the Virgin Media Pioneers.
Adrian also accompanied them to the lunch at the British High Commission where Sir Richard talked about British business in India. After the lunch, The Virgin Media Pioneers traveled to Sannam S4′s offices to discuss their plans to enter the Indian market.
Adrian presented the ins and outs of doing business in India to the Pioneers and then provided his guests with a fantastic platform from which they can explore and enter the Indian market – Sannam S4 would be offering 12 months free consultancy to each of the Pioneers business.
As written in Ed Francis’s blog, a Virgin Media Pioneer who plans to establish a socially sustainable gastro restaurant in Mumbai
Natasha Lipman, one of the other Virgin Media Pioneer winners who wants to engage India’s youth in her International Political Forum site into India, tweeted:
Adrian met with Sir Richard in his hotel suite for pre-party drinks to discuss the development of Sannam S4 since Sir Richard heard about the business plan in 2007 when Sannam S4 was an idea in Adrian’s head – the company is now 75 people, with offices in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai.
The group then traveled to Mumbai. Virgin hosted a party at the TaJ for the launch of the new route from Mumbai to Delhi.
Adrian talks to Steve Ridgway, CEO of Virgin Atlantic, on Sannam S4’s business model and how to further support British businesses, particularly SME’s establish successfully in India.
